Pixfect Support
Updated: 2026-10-13
Write to us at info@hdappstudio.com. The quickest way is Pixfect → Settings → Send feedback, which adds your app version, device model and iOS version (and nothing else). Please never send us photos you don’t want to share — we don’t need them to help.
Frequently asked questions
What can I do for free?
The live beauty camera with the “Natural” look, Crop, Enhance → Auto, the Adjust controls Brightness, Contrast, Saturation and Temperature, and 8 filters are free, and you can save as many photos as you like. Photos saved on the free version carry a small “Pixfect” watermark in the corner. Items with a lock are part of Pixfect Pro: you can preview locked filters and adjustments on your photo, then either unlock Pro or tap “Remove” to save the free version.
What does Pixfect Pro include?
Saving without a watermark, every camera look and video recording, all 132 filters, every Adjust and Enhance control (HSL, curves, noise reduction, sharpening, Portrait HD, HD / Ultra HD quality), Retouch, object removal (all engines), Background, Add (text, stickers, frames, drawing), batch editing and the metadata cleaner. Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription; the yearly plan can start with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the iPhone’s Settings → your name (Apple ID) → Subscriptions → Pixfect, or Pixfect → Settings → Manage subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period (or free trial) ends to avoid the next charge. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Payments are handled by Apple, so refunds are too: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID and choose the Pixfect purchase.
I bought Pro but the app says I’m on the free plan.
Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you purchased with, connect to the internet, then tap Pixfect → Settings → Restore purchases (also on the Pixfect Pro screen). If it still doesn’t work, write to us.
Why does Pixfect download models, and how big are they?
To keep the app small, some AI engines download the first time you use them (downloads over 100 MB ask you first and can use mobile data), and then work offline on your iPhone: Fast removal (about 12 MB), Quality removal (about 95 MB), tap-to-select objects (about 20 MB) and background depth (about 23 MB). Face analysis and Ultra HD upscaling are built into the app and need no download. You can delete downloaded models in Settings → Downloaded models; they download again when needed. Downloads never include any of your data.
Where are my edits saved?
When you tap Save, the result is added to your Photos library as a new photo — your original is never changed. Your edit projects also stay in Pixfect’s own library on your iPhone so you can continue editing later. Nothing is stored in the cloud by Pixfect.
What does “Strip metadata” do?
When it is on (the default), the saved copy contains no location, camera or device details. “Strip metadata” is free. The Metadata cleaner in Settings (Pixfect Pro) does the same for existing photos: it saves a cleaned copy and leaves the original as it is.
Does Pixfect upload my photos?
No. All processing happens on your iPhone. The app only uses the internet for subscriptions, anonymous analytics and crash reports, and model downloads. You can turn anonymous usage analytics off in Settings → Anonymous usage analytics. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
What’s new in each version?
See “Version History” on Pixfect’s App Store page.
